Het TELEBIB Platform is vertegenwoordigd in eEG7 en in UN/CEFACT.

Sedert 1988 is de e-business Expert Group 7 (eEG7) actief in het bestuderen en ontwikkelen van standaarden voor het uitwisselen van gegevens via elektronische weg. Oorspronkelijk was deze standaardisering uitsluitend gericht op het ter beschikking stellen van UN/EDIFACT-formaten. Sinds enige tijd heeft ook XML als syntaxis voor EDI opgang gemaakt en is deel gaan uitmaken van het actieterrein van eEG7. Daarom heeft het zwaartepunt van de activiteiten van eEG7 zich verlegd naar het ontwikkelen van een gegevens- en procesmodel voor de Europese verzekeringssector. Van deze modellen kunnen dan consistente berichten in welke syntaxis dan ook, afgeleid worden.

De betrokkenheid van het TELEBIB Platform in eEG7 heeft een dubbel doel. Enerzijds moet zij de conformiteit van de Belgische standaard met de Europese verzekeren, anderzijds moet zij ertoe leiden dat de Belgische noden door het Europese model gedekt worden.

eEG7 maakt naast eEGs voor andere sectoren zoals banking, handel, transport, constructie en andere, deel uit van de e-business Board for European Standardization (eBES).

Via eEG7 is het TELEBIB Platform ook vertegenwoordigd in het United Nations Centre for the Facilitation of Procedures and Practices for Administration Commerce and Transport (UN/CEFACT). In dit forum komen standaardiseringsexperten van alle werelddelen en alle sectoren samen om enerzijds een eenvormige visie op standaarden en standaardisering te ontwikkelen en anderzijds die visie toe te passen om tot wereldwijde en intersectorale standaarden te komen.

Au début cette standardisation était uniquement orientée vers la mise à disposition de messages en UN/EDIFACT. Depuis un certain temps, XML est également reconnue comme syntaxe pour l'EDI et fait par conséquent partie du domaine d'activité de l'eEG7. Pour cette raison, l'accent des activités de l'eEG7 s'est déplacé vers le développement d'un modèle de données et de processus pour le secteur de l'assurance européen. De ces modèles peuvent être dérivés, des messages cohérents dans n'importe quelle syntaxe.

Le but de l'implication de la plate-forme TELEBIB dans l'eEG7 est double. D'une part, elle doit garantir la conformité des standards belges avec les standards européens, et elle doit assurer que le modèle européen couvre les besoins du secteur belge d'autre part.

A côté des autres eEGs pour d'autres secteurs, tels que le banking, le commerce, le transport, la construction et autres, l'eEG7 fait partie du e-business Board for European Standardization (eBES).

Via l'eEG7, la plate-forme TELEBIB est représentée dans le United Nations Centre for the Facilitation of Procedures and Practices for Administration Commerce and Transport (UN/CEFACT). Dans ce forum, des experts de standardisation des différents continents et secteurs se réunissent pour, d'une part, développer une vision uniforme sur les standards et la standardisation et, ,d'autre part, appliquer cette vision pour arriver à de vrais standards mondiaux et intersectoriels.

The TELEBIB2 Platform is represented in eEG7 and in UN/CEFACT.

The e-business Expert Group 7 (eEG7) has been actively studying and developing standards for electronic data interchange since 1988. In the beginning these standardisation activities were exclusively oriented towards making UN/EDIFACT messages available. Since short, XML has also been recognised as a valid syntax for EDI and as a consequence, it has become part of the scope of eEG7. For this reason the focus of eEG7's activities is now on the development of a data model and a process model for the European Insurance sector. From these models, consistent messages can be derived in whatever syntax.

The goal of the participation of the TELEBIB platform in eEG7 is twofold. First this participation must guarantee the conformance of the Belgian standards with the European ones; second it must insure that the European model covers the Belgian needs.

eEG7 is part of the e-business Board for European Standardization (eBES) just like other eEGs for other sectors like banking, trade, transport, construction and others.

Via eEG7, the TELEBIB Platform is also represented in the United Nations Centre for the Facilitation of Procedures and Practices for Administration Commerce and Transport (UN/CEFACT). Within this forum standardisation experts from al continents and industries meet to develop a uniform view on standards and standardisation on one side and to apply these visions in order to produce real worldwide and intersectorial standards.
